Where the White Desert Comes Alive with Culture and Color

White Rann of Kutch during Festival

Our Story

Rann Utsav is a cultural phenomenon that celebrates the ethereal beauty and rich heritage of the Great Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, India. Born in 2005 from a vision to showcase this unique landscape, the festival has blossomed into one of India's most celebrated cultural events, attracting visitors from across the globe.

The festival transforms the vast salt marshes into a vibrant canvas of culture during the winter months. What begins as a pristine white desert at sunrise becomes a kaleidoscope of colors by day - with traditional crafts, music, dance, and the warm hospitality of the Kutchi people.

Over the years, Rann Utsav has become more than a festival; it's a movement that supports local artisans, preserves ancient traditions, and creates sustainable livelihoods while offering visitors an unforgettable experience.
